Now that you have your license the next step is to go a few days before your hunt starts is to scount the area. Look for tracks, beating down path, and scat from your game. If you cant find anything they you need to find a new area. If you have found all of this then look at the tracks and see which way they are coming from. This well help you decide were to sit at or put up your stand.(usually you use a stand for deer hunting) Then for a few days you need to Wake up before dawn and sit down and be quite and watch for deer and it may be a good idea to do this at 4:00 a.m. and at 4:00 p.m. (If you have already done these steps then go to step four.) Do this a few times so you can tell if deer are going to come your way. If you have finish with these steps and still need so help then get ready for step four.
